Due Dates

Canvas has many different ways you can keep track of your assignments. On the modules page, you will see each page, assignment, discussion and quiz. Under each, you will see the due date and number of points.

Canvas also keeps a running "to-do" list called "Coming Up" on the side of your course, so you can see what you have coming up next.

Finally, Canvas has a built in calendar feature where you can click the calendar on the global dashboard and see what you have coming up. You can select multiple courses in your calendar view, on the right side of the screen. This will allow you to see what you have in all or some of your courses. To do this, select the check boxes next to the course name to add it to your calendar view. Uncheck them to remove them from the calendar view.

One word of caution, you will not see things on your dashboard until they have been published by your instructor and made "available." It is a good practice to check your dashboard frequently to make sure you are not missing something.

On the right, there is a menu to add multiple calendars, so you can see what is due in all your courses. To add calendars, click the square next to the course name.
