Feedback on Discussions
Just like an assignment, you can get to your feedback by going to the grades page and selecting the assignment, by going to the assignment through the modules page, or by clicking on "recent feedback."
Your instructor can give you feedback a few different ways. They can leave posts and replies in the discussion (this would be public to everyone.) They can leave you a comment on the discussion assignment page (don't worry, only you can see this). They can also use a rubric and leave a score and comments on the rubric for the assignment. Make sure you review the comments your instructor leaves you. In this example, you can see that this assignment earned a 5/5 and that the instructor wrote a comment. "You named a few different ways that someone can learn something. We will explore each later in this course." Your instructors will do the same thing, so make sure you check out what they wrote.
Some instructors use rubrics. They will assign points for the different parts of the assignment and then score you based on how well you met those criteria. Make sure to pay attention to the rubrics as you write your assignment. Then make sure you look back at the rubrics when you get your score back.
