Course Contract

The following was agreed upon for classroom interactions:

In addition to the course syllabus and Nursing Program Handbook, the participants in the NURS 101 course agree to the following:

• If I am late to class, I will come in quietly and take a spot in the back
• When I cannot hear you, I will raise my hand.
• When a discussion goes off topic or needs to be interrupted, raise hand and speak up to get the conversation back on track
• When I want to participate in class, I will raise my hand.
• When I have a question, I will raise my hand.
• If am am too shy/anxious, etc. to participate or ask a question in class, I can do what feels comfortable.
• If receive an emergency call/communication, I will quietly step out and return quietly
• If I have a suggestion or comment, I can leave an anonymous note on the back table.
