03/ 14 email teacher using Inbox

Goal: to be able to use " Inbox" on the canvas. 

Step 1:  Click on the " Inbox" from your very very far left under ( Account/ Dashboard/ Courses/ Groups/ Calendar / Inbox.) 

Step 2:  Click on the "pencil" picture/ icon on the top right side. 

Step  3:  Select class, click on the arrow to select " 2020 Winter ESL Hybrid class."

Step 4:  Type in Yu Kuo , then select Yu kuo 

Step 5:   In the box, write an email to teacher.  The email is about "what do you learn in this class." 

1) You begin to type: Dear Yu-wen, 

2) Then, you can write 5 or 6 sentences about this class, what did you learn in class,  including computer skills. What helps you to learn?  What is a bit hard for you? 

3) When finishing, you type your name in the end. 

Sample: 

Dear Yu-wen, 

How are you today?  I want to let you know what I learned this quarter.  I learned about many things, such as past tense, gerunds .....................................................................................................................................................

Step 6: When you finish, hit "send."
