First Things First
Canvas is the Learning Management System (LMS) we use at Highline College. This is where you will see the assignments for your courses, complete activities, and turn in work. Many of your instructors will also put the readings, videos, and course material to Canvas.
If you have never used Canvas before, check out this video. You will learn more about Canvas in this orientation, but some people like to have an overview of how Canvas works.
To view subtitles for this video, mouse over the video, and click the Toggle "Captions On" button in the tool bar at the bottom of the video. You can select a language (English, Spanish or Portuguese) for the captions under Settings (the gear icon).
Technology Requirements
Canvas can be used on most computers, tablets, and phones. Canvas can be used on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari (for Macs). You should make sure you have the most up-to-date browser for your computer to prevent technology issues with your Canvas courses.

How to Log in
The Canvas URL for your Canvas account is canvas.highline.edu
Then, you enter your Highline Log-in and password.
