How to take a screenshot
A screenshot captures what you are seeing on your computer screen.
Knowing how to take a screenshot is important because you might have to do this for assignments. Also, you can do this if you're having a technical issue and need to email an image of the problem to your instructor or the Help Desk.
The actual combination of keys that you use to do this depends on the type of computer you're using. The following slides show some examples.
On some keyboards, the Print Screen button needs to be help down with another key to work. For example, on a standard Dell PC keyboard you need to hold down the blue Fn key in the lower left at the same time. The Print Screen button is blue to indicate this:
