The following was agreed upon for classroom interactions:

In addition to the course syllabus and Nursing Program Handbook, the participants in the NURS 101 course agree to the following:

If I am late to class, I will gently knock on the door to be let in (subject to revision if this becomes an issue)
When I cannot hear you, I will respectfully ask you to talk louder
When a discussion goes off topic or needs to be interrupted, anyone in the class can respectfully speak up to get the conversation back on track
When I want to participate in class, I will raise my hand
When I have a question, I will raise my hand
If am am too shy/anxious, etc. to participate or ask a question in class, I can ask the instructor or another student during breaks or via email
If receive an emergency call/communication, I will quietly leave the room and may be let back in by gently knocking
