Message Center and Notifications

This topic will give you a basic understanding of how to review messages and notifications in the Message Center of your Student Homepage. At the end of this topic, you will be able to:

Message Center

On the Student Homepage select the Message Center tile.

The Message Center page will display. Here you can select a message in your Inbox.

Once selected, the message will display. Depending on the type of message, some will allow for replies from you. If the message allows it, there will be a Write a Message box at the bottom of the page.

If the message does not have a Write a Message box, review the message or notification for necessary information.

When replying to a message, enter your response, then select Send.

If you choose to archive the message, select Archive at the top right in the message window.

A confirmation message will appear and the message will be moved from the Inbox to the Archived folder.

You can view previously archived messages by selecting the Archived folder.

Once the Archived folder displays you can review previously archived messages. If you wish to move the message back to the Inbox, select the message you wish to Unarchive and select Unarchive.

Remember to click the "Mark as Done" box in the upper right hand corner of this page prior to clicking NEXT.
