Introduction to the MLA Guide to Citing Sources Module
Welcome to the MLA Guide to Citing Sources module made available to you through the Highline College Library.
MLA is the acronym for the Modern Language Association Links to an external site.. It is a publication style that follows a specific format for writing, formatting, and documentation in a research paper or student work (a PowerPoint presentation, for example). MLA style is used by many academic disciplines.
This module will help us:
- Create appropriately formatted in-text citations in MLA style
- Integrate sources into our research
- Produce a Works Cited list of sources used.
