Welcome to the APA Guide to Citing Sources module made available to you through the Highline College Library. This guide follows formatting guidelines from APA 7th edition, which was released in October 2019.

APA is the acronym for American Psychological Association (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.. It is a publication style that follows a specific format for writing, formatting, and documentation in a research paper or student work (a PowerPoint presentation, for example). APA style is used by other academic disciplines besides Psychology.

This module will help us:

Create appropriately formatted in-text citations in APA style
Integrate sources into our research
Produce a Reference list of sources used.
