Summer Al Fresco Dining - How this works
Welcome to Instructional Design's "Al Fresco Dining" series of workshops. Each workshop features a short checklist of things you can do to prepare for your online course. If you've already done the item, check it off and move on! If not, there's a face-to-face workshop, a video overview, and then a set of ideas and links that you can follow for each checklist item.
There are a few different ways you can approach this course:
- The daily Zoom snack - join us each day, live at 10:00, when we go over the topic and answer questions. Stick around for CanvAssistance immediately afterward if you have more questions.
- I eat alone, thank you - each topic will have a video introduction, followed by the checklist and links. Pick two topics each day. Watch the video, read the items, and make the updates to your courses.
- I already ate - Well, that's more chocolate cake for us, then. But do take a look at the full "Ready to Go" checklist Links to an external site., so you can bask in the summer break sun with no worries.
- The Pig Out - Go through all nine topics in one day, updating your course and making all the changes you need. Top it off with the full "Ready to Go" checklist Links to an external site.. Then go take a peaceful nap, knowing your summer classes are ready to rock!
Regardless of your choice, there are three ways you can connect with us to talk about everything from which activities work best online vs. face-to-face, to how many chocolate covered strawberries you just ate.
