3.6a Review of OER Explainers
A core feature of OER is that the resources are freely and legally shared. Teachers and learners do not necessarily need to build materials from the ground up because others have already done similar work.
Please review material from another institution or organization that aims to help you learn about OER. Identify useful content from those materials.
The goal of this exercise is for you to identify learning materials about OER.
Instructions
- Select one of the resources below.
To make sure we aren't all reviewing the same resources, please put your name by the resource you've chosen. You can do this by clicking "edit" in the upper right corner of this page. Let's try to avoid more than 3 names per resource. - Explore and write a brief review of the resource, being sure to identify content that you find useful. Did the resource effectively help you to learn about OER? Why/why not?
Note: Some of the resources have a lot of content. You don't need to review all of it. Just pick a few sections and review those. - Create an online document that can be shared with everyone (such as a GoogleDoc or Web Page). Title the document: Name of Resource - Your Name
- Identify the resource you are reviewing at the top. Be sure to include a link to the resource in your review document. If you only reviewed part of a resource, please identify which sections you examined. Below that, provide your review of the resource.
- Share the link to your document on this page by hyperlinking your name (next to your resource) to your online document.
