Goal: to be able to use google doc to type out your writing and share it on CANVAS.
How to use google doc?
How to create a google docs:
- First, go to google.com/docs (Links to an external site.) Login with your Highline email account. ( Don’t use other gmail account. )
- Click on the plus ( + ) sign on your left top.
- Title your document. Click on ‘Untitled Document’ ( on left top ).
- Type the name of your document (________________). Press Enter or click on the blank document.
How to share your google docs on CANVAS:
- Click ‘Share’.
- Click ‘Get Shareable Link’.
- Click on ‘copy’.
- Go back to your CANVAS ( Writing 2: Future )
- On CANVAS, click on “ submit assignment “ on the top.
- Paste the link in Canvas by right clicking and selecting ‘Paste’.
- Press the spacebar on your keyboard. The link will turn blue.
- Then hit submit assignment at the bottom.
