You can use multiplication and division to calculate how much money you will earn each week or month.
If the salary is $33,500 a year, you divide 33,500 by 12. (There are 12 months in a year.)
33,500 / 12 = 2,769.67
You will earn $2,769.67 each month.
If you make $15 an hour and work 40 hours a week, you multiply 15 by 40. (A full-time job is 40 hours a week.)
15 x 40 = 600
You will earn $600 a week.
