Discussions - Overview & Outcomes

Discussions are one of the ways to capture your students' learning in Canvas. They can also be used to build community and help students learn to collaborate online. They are similar to in-class discussions, and like class discussions, you can have students working in small groups or discussing a topic as an entire class. When you build a discussion, it will automatically populate a column for grades in your Gradebook.
