Launching Your Course: Overview and Objectives

Whether you are teaching face-to-face, hybrid, or online, students benefit from guidance about how the materials and activities posted on Canvas integrate with the class.

In online classes, there's no "classroom" identified in the class schedule, and many students arrive with no prior experience in online classes (or possibly even at Highline). A set of activities at the start of the quarter can help get the course started smoothly.

• Manage some of the administrative tasks associated with the first week.
