Accessible, mobile-ready content - Overview & Outcomes

Accessible content is content that is "more accessible to people with disabilities. Accessibility involves a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities." (From: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Links to an external site.).

"Responsive,", or mobile-friendly, content is usable on a wide range of devices, especially small-screened mobile phones.

Why are these together in one unit? Because often, by making content accessible, it's also usable for students on mobile devices. And for many of our students, a smartphone is the only access they have to the internet.
