Calendar - How can the calendar benefit you and your students?

The calendar helps students (and you!) organize their time by showing a long-view map of scheduled course events. It can also be connected to calendars in mobile devices and other schedule systems like Google Calendars. 

Canvas Calendar automatically shows any activity that has a deadline associated with it, such as assignments, graded discussions, and quizzes. It's an improvement over the syllabus tool, because you can also show events that you add, for instance office hours or other class reminders.

One nice additional feature is that you can set up conferences with students using the "scheduler" feature.
