Reflection
Having completed this module, you have a good start on learning to
- Develop an overall structure for your class, based on the outcomes and goals created earlier
- Identify a strategy for developing the content of the class
- Create the basis for effective communication in the class
Application
This module covered a range of topics for setting up your class. Here are three steps you can take to continue developing your course:
- Set up a basic structure for the class, and upload it.
- Set up an appointment to meet with the reference librarians to find content to support your course.
- Brainstorm roles that interaction can have in your class; share your notes.
- Create your ground rules: how do you want students to communicate with you? If you want to co-create them with your students, how will you do that?
For this assignment, develop your approach to ground rules. If you're planning to co-create them with your students, develop the plan for that activity, and include any 'must-have' rules that you expect to have.
