Overview

Whether you are building a new course from scratch or adapting a template shared with you by another instructor, it pays to spend some time planning out how Canvas and other online tools will be used in the course. This first section of the Canvas Intermediate course will walk you through a process to articulate that vision.

Objectives

Upon completing this module you will be able to:

• Identify the outcomes for the courses you teach as stated in the Highline College Catalog,
• Articulate your vision for these courses, including how students will reach those outcomes, and how students will proceed through the course materials and activities, and
• Describe how Canvas and other online tools can help your students reach your course outcomes.
