Assignment 1A: Settings

This module covered adjusting your settings and profile in Canvas. For this assignment, you'll be making changes to communication channels, your profile, and your notifications.

1. Right-click on Account in the Global Navigation Menu on the left, and choose to open it in a new browser window. Now you can change your personal settings.
2. Add at least one additional email address to your communication channels (you can always remove the email address later if you wish).
3. Edit your profile (left navigation menu) by adding a short bio and uploading a picture
4. Review and set your notification settings

Once you have made the changes on the settings of your personal home page, submit the following:

1. A screenshot of the settings page showing (on the far right side) at least one additional communication channel
2. A screenshot of your profile page (showing a photo and your bio)
3. A screenshot of your notification settings

Remember:

• Complete this assignment by adding a page for a course you will be teaching in Canvas. You can copy the test course to that class later.
• If you have already updated your profile in Canvas (at Highline or elswhere), you can use that for your screen shots. Please ensure that it meets the criteria for the assignment.
