Published and Unpublished Content and Activities

Content in Canvas can be kept hidden until you are ready to display it. The key is the status of that document -- Published or Unpublished. Unpublished items are sometimes referred to as "Draft State".

We'll get into more about draft state in future modules. For now, keep an eye on the green check mark, or the grey circle with a slash through it, on the right side of each module entry. A green check indicates the item is available to students.
