Instructions for "testing out"

This module contains all the assessments (assignments and quizzes) necessary to pass the Orientation. 

If you are new to Canvas you should skip this module and go straight to Module 1. This is a prior learning assessment intended only for experienced users.

If you're experienced with creating courses in Canvas, complete the assessments in this module. You must score an average of least 80% on all assessments from modules 1-10. Note the following exceptions:

• Read over Module 2, since it includes information on getting help at Highline.
• Complete all of Module 10. That's where we explain Highline's processes for how we run Canvas; you'll find each college does things a bit differently.

Remember to complete both the quizzes and assignments. Most assignments can be completed with screen shots from courses you've already built at other institutions. Feel free to use those; we're not concerned about the logo on the screen, we just want to see you demonstrate the skills in the assignment.
