Assignment 9A: Create an assignment

The first part of this module covered using assignments to create Gradebook items. For this assignment, create an assignment in your test course. 

• Go to the Assignments page on the left navigation, or add a new Module item.
• Create a new assignment.
• Include directions, total points possible, and submission type.
• Publish the assignment.
• See the assignment example and rubric (below) for more details.

Remember:

• Complete this assignment by adding a page for a course you will be teaching in Canvas. You can copy the test course to that class later.
• If you already have a course built in Canvas, you can use an example from that course. Please ensure that it meets the criteria for the assignment.
