Home Page

Each course has a home page which is the first thing students will see in the course. There are five layout options you can choose from: 

1. the Course Activity Stream
2. Pages Front Page
3. the Course Modules
4. the Assignments List
5. the Syllabus

We highly recommend either the Pages or Course Modules home page:

• Use the Pages home page if you want students to see welcome information or the syllabus when they first come into the course. 
• Use the Modules home page if you want students to see a list of all the content and activities in a course. 
• If you use Announcements, turn on the option to show three announcements.
• Note that the Syllabus and Assignments home pages only show items that have deadlines and include students submitting work.
