Setting Course Navigation Links

The Course Navigation Links are on the left side in each course, and they're used by both you and students to easily move from one course area to another. As an instructor, you'll see all the navigation links for a course, regardless of whether they are active or not. Your students will only see the links you make active. (See Student View for a preview.) You can also reorder the links you don't hide so they're in a logical order.

We highly recommend hiding navigation links you don't plan on using to reduce confusion for students. A small number of options will enable students to quickly choose and understand where they need to go. In fact, you can probably reduce the links to Home, Modules, Grades, Library, and Search to best guide students.
